Pets are not allowed, unfortunately. This is not our rule, but the rule of the Condominium Association. Therefore, it is strictly enforced. There is no smoking in the condominiums. We ask that you and your guests abide by this important restriction. We have found, understandably, that our visitors/tenants will not take a condominium where the smell if smoke lingers. We do greatly appreciate your assistance in this regard. Toll decals are provided for your ease in returning to the Island from the mainland. Please provide the office with your license tag number. Utility bills are included in your monthly rent. However, summer months can be "brutal" on electrical charges. In this regard, we certainly would appreciate your assistance in keeping these bills under control. Therefore, when you are away, please adjust the temperature accordingly. Thank you! Premium television channels including HBO movies on channel 40 are provided. Should you experience any trouble with your cable service, please first check your television to be sure that it is on channel 3. The television must be on channel 3 to access the cable service. Change channels through the cable box remote (not the TV remote). A VCR is also provided for your enjoyment. Each unit has a washer/dryer for your convenience. To prevent a potential fire hazard, we ask that you please do not leave the washer and dryer on when you leave home, and that the lint screens are cleaned after each use. Please do not leave lamps on when you are away. We have had the occasion where a lighht blub became hot and burned through the lampshade. In this regard, please do not use a light bulb with a wattage higher than recommended in the lamps. The trash receptacle is located on the river side of the condominium. It is "drop" box built into the wall. Please be sure that the trash is secured in a plastic bag before depositing. Please note that the condominium will be entered on the fourth Thursday of each month for pest control service by Brunswick Exterminating. This is a very good, established company having been in business in Glynn County for over 40 years. We are not responsible for accidents, injuries or the loss of money, jewelry or any other valuables while staying with us. Please know that the condominium has been decorated and furnished for your comfort and convenience. We ask that you please take care of it as you would your own home. The rent is $55.00 per day and includes taxes. You will be billed on the 20th day of each month for rent and any long distance telephone calls (if telephone statement has been received); therefore, please provide the office with your government MasterCard number. Your credit card receipt will be attached to your statement. Any long distance and other telephone charges in excess of the basic service will also be charged to your government card, unless you notify us otherwise. Please contact us prior to the 20th day of each month to make changes in the billing procedure described in this paragraph. If you prefer to pay for your rent by personal check, please make check payable to St. Simons Real Estate Company and mail to Post Office Box 20689, St. Simons Island, GA 31522.
